I think (and hope) that PUSSY.mobi will break some .mobi records at SEDO. I trust the market. There will be a lot of bidders. I know for sure that The Domainking Schwartz will try to get his hands on it. Check the whois of pussey.mobi...

This is one of the best 'non-premium' - non-reserved .mobi domains. Which adult domains are better..? SEX.mobi, PORN.mobi, and then... Right, PUSSY.mobi (and GIRLS.mobi PC Aero)

follow the PUSSY.mobi auction at

Like mobi or not, two things:

Estimates place about 20% cell phones and wireless devices (think PDA's) are used to surf porn or erotic images.

.mobi is NOT only viewed on the cellphone. Think PC.

Here's an article written in 2004
http://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/commentary/sexdrive/2004/10/65509

Oops, here is one from 2006:
http://www.informationweek.com/blog/main/archives/2006/02/google_porn_sea.html
Google Porn Search On Cell Phones

More than 20% of Google searches from cell phones are for “Adult” content, whereas the comparable figure for PDAs is less than 5%. The researchers believe this is because PDAs are used more for business, phones for entertainment.

Do the math:

If there are an estimated 3.5 billion cell phones in the world, if 20% of those surfed for porn, that's 700,000,000. But, that's assuming all were not using google. Well say only 10%. Thats 350,000,000. Okay, lets say that is too much. How about 5% = 175,000,000. Still too much? How does 1% sound at 35,000,000 phones used to surf the internet for porn or erotic material.

We know that's a bunch of BS. There's twice that many phones in the US.

Even if we say 1%, how can anyone say that this 35 million figure is chump change?

What, people don't want to use their phone for porn? Are you kidding me? You boss, your spouse, or any IT person can check your workstation remoting to see what you are looking at, etc. Cell phone? Nope, no one can trace that.

Google: Cell Phones Better Choice For Porn

How about this article?

Cellphone technology rings in pornography in USA

So if the industry leaders were saying and throwing these figures around in 2005, where to you think those figures might be right now?

I don't look at porn on the PC or the cell phone. Nor do I call up the daily sermon for salvation on either.

But to think for a minute that you have not put a tiny computer in someone's hands and they are not going to view erotica or porno on it is absurd and backwards thinking. Not to mention all the cameras on cell phones capable of not only still "up skirt" shots but also video taping someone in the shower and putting it online instantly.

Time for a lot of people to come to the realization that the mobile internet is not just around the corner but it is here. Like mobi or not, it is not going away.

Some folks are perhaps missing a golden opportunity here.

Here in Sweden we always surfing porn on our cellphone. It's actually very uncommon to meet people that not browsing porn on their cellphones daily.

Can you imagine how it looks like when we go by train etc? Yeah, ~100 people looking at diffrent porn niches on their cellphones! It's mess beacuse headphones isnt very big here in Sweden. Then when we come home from a long day full of porn on our cellphones we get on online on our PCs watching more porn (on .mobi sites of course)!

Trying to head off the evil spirits before they appear.

Actually adding to the credibility of the sale. Doubtful we'll see records. But, who knows?

Cell phone porn to ring up $3.3 billion

Like the Internet before it, it looks like mobile's content explosion could be set off by porn.

Adult content on mobile devices will be worth $3.3 billion by 2011, up from $1.4 billion this year, according to industry analysts Juniper Research.

Europe is the biggest spender on porn, due to both its appetite for smut and the relatively high-priced nature of adult content. The Asia-Pacific region follows in second place.

The development of the adult content market will also evolve in parallel with mobile telephony technology, Juniper predicted. Currently, most adult content is text-based. As 3G wireless, which provides more capacity for multimedia services, reaches maturity, porn will switch to video delivery, Juniper said. More than 70 percent of revenue will be derived from that medium by 2011, according to the report.

"Erotic adult entertainment is big business--sex sells! What's more, the underlying drivers mean that the demand is pretty constant," the report's authors noted.

However, highly dedicated smut watchers are unlikely to be getting their content on their mobiles, Juniper said. Rather, the typical mobile porn consumer is likely to be a "lad down the pub" trying to impress his mates.

There. I found you mentioned in the article.
