Very rare and fantastic investment opportunity. Very rare 3-letter dotcom domain name. All 3-letter domains have been registered and taken. This domain name has a certified appraisal from the number one domain name registration company, GoDaddy.com, of US$26-62K!

I realize that "certified appraisals" can have inflated prices.

Why would you post my seller's information and my location on the forum? If you had concerns you could have contacted me via PM and you would have discovered that I bought the domain from the person from California and the whois had not been changed yet. In fact I see you did PM me, but it was wrong to post your "suspicions" on the forum without knowing all the facts.

Anyone can look it up, DNP did it for us :)
He isn't judging you in any way. He is just informing potential bidders (who are not pro active) that MAYBE there is something wrong here.

I am in contact with Godi (who is currently out of the US) and we will get the WHOIS issue rectified very shortly. I will request that this thread be closed until that is done. I apologize for any confusion.

WHOIS issue rectified. Domain is in my name. Please submit your offers via PM, or guests can email [email protected].

You obviously never heard the recent horror story that someone posted concerning selling a domain and getting paid by paypal either ;)

Are you sure?

Do you have an access to the domain control panel?

Again, I ask you NOT to post your concerns about this domain name on the forum. If you had an genuine interest or concern about this name, you could have PMd me.

I purchased this domain off eBay, but when I discovered that the amount I am paying is considerably higher than what it was worth, I contacted Godi and he allowed me to resell it so that he would get paid and I would not lose money. Godi and I have talked via telephone daily and he agreed to list the domain in my name to allay the concerns of those who may think it is some kind of scam. In this transaction I am the broker. I sell to the buyer, I pay Godi, he releases the domain to me, and I release it to the buyer. Since I am in continual contact with Godi, this transfer process will take no longer than it would if I had compete control of the domain. I have always transferred domains to the buyer the same day he/she pays, often within minutes.

It shouldn't be necessary to explain this to the DNF community at large; only to those who have a genuine interest in buying. But because of you (DNPs) insistence on posting on the forum instead of addressing the concerns via PM, I feel it necessary to respond. If Godi, the original seller, and I the original buyer, are in agreement on how the domain is to be sold and presented, then it is really nobody else's business except that of the new buyer.

Therefore, I can only conclude that DNP's intent is to create suspicion and undermine our efforts to conduct legitimate business on this forum, and as such, it will be reported to the forum administrators.

To be fair to everyone, DNP and members need to raise the questions when something does not look right in order to protect us from being scammed.

There are rules here that you need to state up front if you are a broker but you did not.
You act as you own the name - In fact you do not.
You also said that the transfer of ownership was done and the who is did not update - today we found out that is not the case.

You keep change the story and expect the buyer send you the money and Godi will transfer the name?

Any more explanation?

As a matter of fact, the mod should close this thread pending for an investigation and if you have the right to sell the name then it should be moved to the brokerage foum, not here.

Good luck!

John

I agree John, the domain should have been originally posted in the brokerage section to avoid all this confusion:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is where resellers can act as go between to sell a domain they do not own but have authorization to sell. One thread per 24 hours is permitted.

My fault. I didn't even notice there was a brokerage section. When I found it, I PMd one of the mods asking them to close the thread. I placed it in the wrong section! Still, I believe that if there are any questions or concerns about this sale, members may PM me or even contact me via telephone, not post suspicions on the forum when they don't have all the facts. I am not trying to swindle someone and risk going to jail over some domain name that isn't even worth all that much money. I encourage questions and am here to address and answer them. I took offense over how it was done.

we completely understand and respect your point......but we expect the same from you....if you want buyers not to make comments in your thread,
1. follow the rules on the forum...so these kind of misunderstandings dont arise...
2.Post the enitre story/histroy of the domain to avoid suspicions.
3. DNP did make you an offer of $4200..so he is genuinely interested in the domain ..dont blame him..he has every right to question you on it.

no one is pointing fingers at you ....being buyers we are just concerned about getting our money's worth. Hope you understand
