Does anyone know what traffic percentage a type-in word would get from overture

Example: Overture keyword is “job search”, if I had “JobSearch.com” what would be the type-in traffic?

I heard 1-2 percent is common.

Any stats predicted?

Interesting question. I suspect that it varies between the types of name. For example a trade mark may get more type-ins. If you wanted ford then you may just type in ford.com. Some adult names are good as well, as surfers try a word combination to see what they get. I think this has been spoilt by people buying names to try to route surfers to unrelated sites though.

My advice is to never use Overture's stats and try to guess the type-in traffic of a name from them. Doing this will lead you to the poor house. I've been there and done that, too.
