i am wondering how you appraise a site that- because of the nature of the site- always uses the same word, with another word.
like hosting sites- many try and use "host" in the name itself- but use all sorts of different words in it- many which are not usually typed in, but sound great.
how do you appraise something like that- and does it matter in the least with search engine rankings if the second word used has over 10 million pages in google? is that a keyword-helper thing with the word host?

Are you strictly talking about websites or domain names?

a domain name. i recently got a domain name which "i" thought was cool- but i guess no one else ever did because i was able to get the .com, .net, .us, .biz, .org and .info.
the name is HostLogik.com
i dont know, i just think the name rocks- its more professional to me than like hostmonkey or something.
anyways- i went to see what this logik spelled wrong would show in google- and it shows a lot of pages.
but- i am clueless as to if this helps the site at all, if developed, with keyword searches? since the word host is in there it kinda blows everything, but- it is a hosting domain for a hosting site, and host should be in there, right?

A name like that is going to have value if developed. Take Yahoo.com. The name alone has no value, but since its a multi-million dollar company and a developed page, its worth millions.
