I have heard of people getting in trouble for making a website that saying Company X sucks etc etc and many time those people getting sued.I guess if these statements you make are flase then you are really in trouble. But lets say you run a review site. And you rate Movie X badly.Lets say a 1 out of 10.Then the Studio gets mad and sues you, would they have a case against you?

Certain *sucks.com cases at WIPO have resulted in the registrant retaining the domain name registration rights.

Movie reviews are OPINIONS, not facts. You cannot be sued for giving your opinion on how bad a movie stunk. In fact, you can be quite graphic about it with impunity.

Keep away from libel, and you're home and dry. www.paypalsucks.com is one of the most famous. As previously stated, nobody can sue you for an opinion.
