Question about google exact search results

My google adwords tool has a drawdown menu which no longer says exact searches but a link
"Ideas containing my search terms" If i choose this is this an exact search return

if i'm not mistaken, you will have to choose "broad/exact/phrase" after clicking that link and entering your keywords.


either way the results are never 'exact'.


imo...

I use the tool religously to hand reg good names, the thing is, the results are definitely not exact. They are too similar to one another and just rounded off.

If only Google would run a monthly report of how many people are searching that exact term and give a real number- wishful thinking. It should be the "Google Maybe Tool"

My advice- Use the old keyword tool, its much more user friendly. Simply click the drop down and select "exact". In the top right corner you will see "previous version". Much easier in my opinion
