If I were to get a one word domain with a international TLD... would it be worth anything?

Like would... "whatever.ag" be worth more than "whatever.am?" or do I just not know what I'm talking about? lol I need help!

I think it depends a lot on whether that word is used in that country. Some posters here have posted examples of British words with a .us extension, thinking that they have a great domain. THe problem is that nobody over here uses that particular word. (I'm sure that the same thing would hold true for U.S. slang and .uk extensions.)

I remember, for example, that peanut butter is not very popular in Germany. That means that peanutbutter.de probably has less value than bratwurst.de
