Hello , I was looking at a hyphen dot com , and it is free to reg ((been dropped)) but the dot net is taken and getting heaps of traffic and estibot says the dot net is worth $10,000 .

Is it worth to reg the dot com , its a hyphen , and hope some traffic goes to the dot com .

Any thoughts will be welcome .

Sounds like it may be worth a taste. (I'm not writing this because of the Estibot valuation, but I'd be interested to know what the estimated traffic for the dotnet was)

I'm unclear- is the dotnet also with a hyphen? If it is, and has substantial type-in traffic, then the dotcom is bound to get some of that.

Only way to find out is to register it and park it for the grace period, then drop it if it doesn't get significant traffic, lose only $0.25
