Potential if developed. Visually, the hyphen is not fatal since the name is a valid written form of the underlying concept. I believe I 've seen "race-car driver" often.

racecar.com and racecar.co.uk and racecar.net all resolve to the same site, maybe they would be interested in it?

racecar.us is owned by Mr. Zousas (what .us domains aren't??)
