just transferred from the ex owner. I’ve got a feeing I paid end user for this one but it was IMO the best of the 100+ mail related names I got offered following a request in the wanted forums at DS, DNF and NP.

I plan to use it for a free email service I have planned for the near future.

What do you think?

Thanks
Rob

I like the mail part but the rapid kinda throws me for a loop. It's good but not great ya know. Something tells me to like it, something else tells me not too.

If you like it, then that's all that matters.

Thanks Spider!

I do like the “Rapid” part of the name, I think it relates well to email (fast, speedy etc).

I appreciate your opinion though.

Thanks again!

Thanks for all the feedback so far

I appreciate the mail business is very competitive at the moment but I’m not out to be the next hotmail. It’s a project I’ve wanted to do for a while now... and i guess now is the time for me to give it a try.

I think its sounds pretty nice.
I actually like the rapid part, as in fast delivery mail...
Nice, good luck with it.

Cool. $100 ~ $750. Your biggest problem with opening up a free email service will be spammers. They'll spam somewhere else and make your service their 'reply to' address. I've been there, spent $1000s and got the t-shirt on free email services I had to close it. You can see it in its death throes at www.azooza.com. Actually, I'm using it for some internal mail but as far as a free or fee-paying email system goes, the idea is really a non-starter. PM me if you need any more info about my experiences. Good luck!

If you have strong development ideas for it then the name is worth what you were comfortable in paying for it.
