Here is my second thread in the 24 hour period.

RateMySites.com is a topsites list for any general website on the Internet. THe list is broken down into categories so you can compete against other websites in your category.

Currently there's over 50 something member websites.

How much do you guys think it's worth?

Mid to high $xx

Good Luck !

I like the concept, and agree with NW.

Perhaps you can add the option to upload a screencapture for each site, to liven it up a bit!?
You could also add a remote rating form (if there isn't one already) and receive some extra traffic.

I tried something similar here http://www.ratemysite.com/rank/ and here http://www.ratemysite.com/main/ but have given up on this type of site for now.

Good luck to you!

Thanks for the appraisals.

The remote rating form is already there. All you have to do is click on the little stats button and you can rate the site and make a review for it.

And a screen capture on it would be awesome. The best thing I can put up there is probably banner images for the site. Screen captures would be too hard to fit it in. I don't think it will look right. But, I'll definately look into that and request a mod to be made for it. Thanks for the ideas!

Nice name!

I'd say about $75-$100 as it is currently.

Good luck to you.

By "remote rating" I meant you could provide the HTML so webmasters can place a rating form on Their website that is connected to Their listing on Your website.

Oh wow, even better idea. LoL. Thanks for explaining it! I'll be looking into that!

US$8,643 is what we calclulate (although it might fetch as high as US$14,255) using our model based on 397 secondary market transactions collected and statistically analyzed in June 2004. I am really baffled that people in this forum are not appreciating my appraisals. So I made more than one! No rules against that.

Okay ... 2 dozens (yes, 24) appraisals in less than 20 minutes is a bit *unusual* to say the least. There are rules of thumbs, netiquette and common courtesy that don't need to be spelt out in black and white, like NOT plugging YOUR OWN products and/or services in non-advertising forums.

FYI, it took me more than 20 minutes to DO the appraisals and 20 minutes to merely post them. And I don't recall plugging my company or mentioning it unless someone asks. Just an appraisal.

Want to talk about annoying? Sheesh DomainWork..

Thanks for stopping this guy mods! 8-)

Yeah, thanks a lot. I got 3 replies to 3 different threads about appraisals from the same person with the same exact text EXCEPT with different numbers and figures.
