RC1 usually is a software term.

Release Candidate 1

Usually the first public release of a software package.

Orlov, a couple recent examples / comparables of 4-character domain sales, of which both sold for over $60,000.
Your 3-character domain is comparable to these two 4-character domains.

MAAC.com sold for $63,000 on 1/19/2011 through AfternicDLS
ADSS.com sold for $61,600 on 1/19/2011 through AfternicDLS

Have you sold RC1.com yet ?

Happy New Year !

Wake up. Neither is it a 3 digit domain, it's a 3-character .com domain. I'd value it at $700-$1k reseller.

Holy Smokes, your are also correct, It is way to early in the morning, I have edited my last reply to reflect character. I appreciate the correction. I still disagree with the low ball reseller appraisals given for RC1.com

$700-$1k is by far not a lowball reseller appraisal, it's very accurate imho. You say "Easily $10k to reseller"; so you mean that people here on DNF will line up to pay $10k for RC1.com? Also, I don't see how you can compare a 3-character .com to LLLL.com end-user sales like you do above.

agreed, $700-$1k is by far not a lowball reseller appraisal here on DNForum and don't see anyone here on DNforum lining up soon to offer more than around $500. I say easily $10k reseller, but not through this forum.

Are you sure you don't mean end-user? If not, please do share where all the other domainers are who are paying $10k easily for ccc.coms. :)

yes, I am sure I don't mean end user. Your suggestion that I know domainers who are paying $10k easily for ccc.com is not correct.
I am saying, I believe there are domainers that would recognize as I do that the RC1.com domain has a reseller value at $10k. I am not saying 3-character.com's all have that reseller value.

I define "reseller value" by what most resellers would be willing to pay for the domain, not "that one particular enthusiastic reseller" who is willing to pay a premium for the domain. Of course, there might be a "reseller"/domainer out there who loves the domain and is willing to pay $10k for it, but he would never pay it if he were to resell the domain, it would have been for development and thus that particular domainer is to be considered an end-user.

I understand what your saying. We are just not on the same page regarding this particular 3-character.com
Your suggestion that I am saying "one particular unthusiast" is not correct either. I would consider one particular unthusiast more of an end user...
