Dear All

My sister has saw one guy on ebay.com sold a domain called webhostmax.com. There is one the 1200 links. She test some of the links but failed.

Error page was result and I was asked why. I have no idea too. Because this domain was registered on Aug 14, 2002. How come within one day, the webmaster able to create so many link to treat the search engine (all the web ) has more than 1,000 links most of them are Chinese.


Any one can explain this to me!

Expired domain names does not necessary have so many links, what Omni wanted to say was that the domain had been used as website before, not all newly registered domains are virgins.

As mentioned above the domain has probably been used before and dropped but the people who have linked or are linking have not updated their sites, or their sites have been dead (not found etc). I'd check www.archive.org but their site is real slow at the moment. The site may have been a resellers heaven or something resulting in everyone linking back to the main host?
One of my domains used to be a bong manufacturing site, wish I knew that when I was registering

Fizz and Fuzz are the only two dictionary word. As you know dictionary single word domain is value higher than creative word, huh!
