Yeah im sure that a few hundred dollars will save everyone.

$600 would buy you one of Greg's LLL .com's - in 2002 :D
Today you'd get a crappy LLL .org with the same amount.

My tax refund (yearly) is going to pay for my homeowner's insurance.

My half of this "stimulus" rebate (my wife and I are only getting $600 total) will pay for our flood insurance.

Panem et circenses...

This isn't Rome its America. Bush wasn't the only one who came up with this rebate he had help from the democrats in congress. Try to see the glass half full for once and realize that this money will help people out.

Oh I see now...a gift from Santa Bush :D

$600 bought me exactly 600 gallons of gasoline - 60 tanks full of gas on my Corolla, in 1998. That's more than a year's supply of gas.

At $4.50+ a gallon today I get less than 3 months worth of driving time.

Its just not from Santa Bush its also from his little elf's(Democrats) in congress.1998 was 10 years ago what did you expect it to stay at $1 a gallon for gasoline.I don't know about you but I'll be happy to receive this rebate even though I'll pay taxes on it next year.

Be aware that if you made more than $150,000 in 2007 you won't be receiving a check. You also get $1,200 for being married and $300 per child. If your situation changes (you make less than $150,000) this year you can apply for a stimulus check next year when you file your taxes.

Bush went on tv all serious looking, trying to convince us to spend the $600 he stole from us in the first place. I say, no thanks. My $600 is going to Obama's fund as a donation.

Oh, and CostOfWar.com tells you how many billions of dollars Bush's personal tribute to Daddy cost America. That's $515 Billion so far.

IMO I would never give any money to a politician. As for the rest of your comments you and I sit on opposite sides of the fence.

What a pathetic joke. Spend the country into massive debt, push the economy into recession, then try to save your legacy thru bonehead moves like small tax rebates.

you guys should buy my domains :)

jking my parents are spending it on paying some debt back

Enough with bashing Bush. I asked a simple question.

What are you going to do with the money?

If I get a reabate it will go to a veterans charity.

As far as "Enough with bashing Bush", I am not going to be silent about an admin that fleeces the American public and actually believes that it can do no wrong, sorry, no can do.

The only incentive this points to is for people to make more babies...and get married more often, to as many people as you can be at the same time...

Bush at least learned something from the Saudis

It's funny, you can talk about the weather and some one will chime how Bush created the weather and the rain and everything else wrong in life. It cracks me up, it really doesn't matter if we all like Bush or not the question was about the checks.

Just a little note all Bush bashers, he's not perfect. Hey, psst, and guess what, neither is Obama or another president past or future.

I'll spend my money on gas and summer fun stuff. Not enough to buy a good domain, ok, I mean a really good domain.

If I have any money left after my insurance checks maybe my wife and I will go to Orlando for a weekend. It's been a while and our platinum passes cover admission, parking, and nice discounts at Seaworld.
