I recieved an offer for the domain name Transfusions.info, and was wondering; before I commit to sell what you all think of it in terms of value. The offer received was mid $xx, which I feel may be low... but it may just be because I own it :-)

Any help, advice, suggestions would be great.

Kind Regards,
Andrew Shaw

I agree - a little low.
You should be able to get low XXX, IMO.
Nice generic.

Any investigation on who made the offer? Knowing that can go a long way.

Otherwise, I'd say $200-250....and agree on the low xxx reseller price.

Mid $xx does'nt even buy you a full tank of gas these days, unless you drive a roller skate car.

Hold out for higher! Unless your strapped for cash.

I'm not in any rush to sell, I'm just pretty new in dealing with .info domain names and just recently started acquiring them.

Are you willing to hold that name for a little longer for more when .info is getting more popular? That offer sounds just right at this point as I am getting similar offers. People buying them are very likely domain investors hoping that .info will go up eventually. :) I for myself, have rejected all low offers even in $xxx for similiar names.

That name would be idea for blood transfusions so if developed could attract a vast number of people looking for information on it! In the last 2 years i have had 11 pints of blood transfused! So i think at least ask of mid $xxx and no lower, all you'd need is a few health related affiliate links then and you should start earning with it!

gorilla(_)bob is a good guy. Just tell him you know he is a domainer and try to work out a deal that will make you both happy. Who knows, he might have a buyer and what you ask for will still give him enough profit etc.

Pick a number that would make you happy and go from there. Keep us updated....

imo, mid $xx is a very reasonable resell offer for this name atm.

Considering the domain is only regged one week ago, and TransfusionsInfo.com and TransfusionInfo.com available.

Sell it.

Even if it was regged a week ago it might have been a drop or regged before. I've picked up a few like that.

There is one guy who collects medical related .info domains, this would be a perfect name for him.

I'd say mid xxx for a one word medical .info domain is reasonable. It is a word that suits people wanting to find information about it - blood transfusions.

Thanks guys. Yes the domain name was picked up in the drop about a week or two ago, so it wasnt a fresh registration.

Your opinion has helped me in my decision. Thanks for all your help.

If it was picked up on a drop, then it is a fresh registration. Its a second or third level term, i would say thats all its worth.

Only time will tell... I have decided to hold onto it. For $50, I think I'm going to take the chance.

Really appreciate the comments and suggestions. Thanks to everyone who posted.
