Just kidding - whoIs updates take 24 hours plus sometimes. The important thing is the registery - the second it's available it can be registered. Then it's another 12 to 24 hours before it shows up to the who web.

when 888 just posted the thread i went to registerfly.com immediately, but it shows the old whois, the name cannot be reg, but few hours later when i get back, the world has changed! whois updated and gourd got the name.

That means gourd is faster than you .

I also use RegisterFly sometimes. I have no problems registering names that are just dropped.
