I noticed domains registered like a year and half before they expire. For example, I've seen names that were created say on May 28, 2002, and it expires on November 17, 2003..Any idea how this happens?. Anybody have names that are like this?.

RMF,
Since I become active in domain business, I have no experience of this inconsistency. If this is your domain name(s), I suggest that you send email to your customer support so they can investigate.

Just a thought,

I don't know if they still do it, but Network Solutions used to rip people off like this. If you transferred ownership through Network Solutions, the new owner would lose all of the time that was left on the registration and would only get the time that they paid for after the transfer. The expiration date would then be in sync with the time of the ownership change instead of with the time of the original registration.

Sorry, I missed the second question. I do still have 2 domains like this:

designerapparel.com
ultradeals.com

Obviously, I will transfer them away from netsol before they expire.
