How does RegisterFly deal with expired domains?

I have a fairly useless name, AbbyBaby.com, which was due to expire on the 18th May 2006. It wasn't worth renewing, so I just let it expire, and sure enough, it is now no longer in my list of RegisterFly domains, and appears under the "Expired Domains" section of my RegisterFly panel, but here's the thing...

The domain is still active, and on checking the whois information, I see that the domain still belongs to me, and isn't due to expire until 25th January next year!? Is it normal for RegisterFly to give you an extra 6 months for free?? I know GoDaddy cut you off the day it expires...

Regfly is a huge mess since they went from an enom reseller to ICANN accredited on their own, and added into the mix is the sale of enom and they are changing some ways, your name is at enom and not into regly's system , enom is holding onto expireds it seems now , so maybe somehow they added some time onto it , but maybe for themselves since it expired.

Well, it maybe "officially" theirs now, but the whois says it's mine for another 6 months, and it still resolves to my site! I just can't push it or change the nameservers anymore. ;-)

If RegisterFly likes an expiring domain, they turn the registrant info into "private" and then they keep it for themselves!!

Psst, me thinks Mr. Bhavin Turakhia's Directi.com (Website.in, Transecute.com, etc.) is about to take over RegisterFly.
