They have had this in the works for over a year..

ICANN wont shut them down..remember Vint Cerf said New.net was just doing a "cute trick" anyways.

i agree ,but it seems like an endorsement now that registries are selling them that their valid extensions,,,what happened to the people that bought .biz thru them where are there names now at the very least their should be warnings that they are not accredited ,,,,,

I agree Chris they should have a "warning" of sorts.. but that will all work itself out anyways as people register these and get totally Pi88ed off when they dont work they way they think they will..then the complaints and threats of lawsuits etc..will come in and after a very short while registerfly and all the others will ..place a warning and / or sell them in a seperate area of their websites. Thats what I see happening.

BTW.. they can be used to garner traffic if chosen well and if New.nets "quick" se is in fact working as some have said.

Other than that they are useless

What? Since when?

Just checked. They are still resellers.

an accredited registry should not be allowed to sell non approved extensions and icann should step in and tell them so or lose their accreditation,,,

They are not accredited!!!
They never were!

Yea they are.

There is life beyond com/net/org

Not that it counts but as well as being accreddited for at least one extension, they own Dodora, which is accreddited for com/net/org.

I am not sure why they resell for enom.

May Ias kwhatsup with your explamation marks?

their customer services dept. might receive many queries, as many people would not understand why can't they access the "http://www.my.club" by just typing it on the browser.
