I have a question which I'm hoping that someone here can assist me with.

I have the domain name:

RegisterName.mobi

Bought it initially with the idea that since many people are away from their home or office pc's, laptops etc - they might want to still, register a domain name whilst on the move, using their mobile phone or mobile device, 24/7 wherever or whatever they are doing, from anywhere in the world.

Was wondering if any of you knew of any affiliate programs out there that one can sign up for, to offer this service so that I could utilise it for this purpose, obviously taking a commission for each domain signed up for and registered through REGISTERNAME.MOBI?

Does anyone or would anyone have any ideas please on how I might go about doing this please?

Many thanks.

I was thinking the same sort of thing after reg'ing a 'domain registrar' domain the other night.

I've not done much research as yet, but i did check out godaddy.mobi (where i actually reg'd the above domain as a bit of fun) and they've got a good working system, including creating a fresh account, payments, domain management, etc. Did'nt see anything regarding affiliates though....

If you were signed-up as a reseller somewhere, most of which offer direct access to their API's, it should be pretty easy to port to XHTML-MP though, just as godaddy have done.

PS, thats a really nice domain you have i think.
