Registering .US domains outside of U.S.

I would like to grab a .US domain but as I am based in Switzerland (and do not have any established business in the United States) I would like to know if there is a registry that can act on my behalf as the U.S. contact for registering the domain? I want to do things correctly in all honesty. Is there anyway around this issue?
I do not particularly want to register just my NAME and EMAIL on a .US domain with a U.S. friends address details. I am sure there is a solution... any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you incorporate in the US you can register as many .us as you want.

How do I go about doing that? There are a few domains I would like in the next few days... what can I do to become eligable to register these?

If you can prove that you buy and sell things in the US you are also eligable. IE proof that you sell domains to americans.

Thats how I got my names past .US registry - A few documents I had to send to prove that I done business there but not really a hassle - Didnt need to incorporate my company or anything like that.

The lexus are not very specific but I think you need some kind of local presence in the form of offices or representation of some sort. Doing some 'trade' with the US here and there may not be sufficient.
Look up 'incorporate' in google.
