You will get a lot of variations, as this is a matter of opinion...

My preference is:

1) NET
2) ORG

nothing else matters.

I do sell a lot of .net and .org for decent prices. I never ventured into the new TLDs. I stick to the more established ones.

Just walk down the street and ask random people what TLDs they know. 95% will say com, net and org. Very few people know about info, biz, or us.
