Please evaluate the current value of Renters.com. Is this real-estate domain name worth $1 or $10 million?

im sure you could get 5-10k easily from some real estate company or something

I think, as seen from the appraisals here. This is a hit or miss name. I myself was not sure if it was a commonly used word, or a made up term such as 'loaners', but based on your quality previous names, i assumed it was widely used.

Based on the overture numbers alone i think it is worth about 9-12k reseller. Due to the large ticket price on the renting industry, an end user could be anything from 12k upwards (theres no poit putting an upper limit on end user valutions).

Google results are ok - about 600k - compared with 'rent' at 15M. Overall, the name seems very good, and has more value than a similar quality name in another industry as it is hard to come by good real estate names nowadays.

Anyways, enough rambling on.

$10k /reseller

I don't know if any of you here are in the real estate industry, my wife is, and it is very competitive amongst realtors and brokers. This domain easily brings 50K-75K to a large brokerage. The devlopment of the site would be great for apartment, condo and even vacation rentals. I have sold small town ******property.com's for thousands. Premium name. Hold onto it for any offer above 50K.

i do like this name a lot - personally i would hold on to it for at least $ 18,000 +++

this could have been an IPO name back in the day

excellent development potential

every major city has a huge rental market

so if someone backs the site with big bucks for advertising, it could become a major portal for rentals world wide

people would pay to list rentals on a busy site

or at least to get premium page position

excellent development potential

you need to put the right people out front and it could attract some serious first round of financing

an experienced realtor and a techie with the right degree

you're talking about a major name here

Very nice! I used to own renters.biz.
