I've got the name supplies.ws & was wondering how successful you think I would be if I tried to rent subomains off of it..

pet.supplies.ws
medical.supplies.ws
party.supplies.ws

etc..

What kinda prices do you think can be charged for this? Where do you get the renters from? ebay? contact end-users?

No .ws haters plz.

I have thought a lot about renting or leasing domains, in fact I bought LeaseThis.com for that purpose. The problem I have with this is how do you prevent unlawful uses of the domain and protect yourself from lawsuits?

I have about 400 domains I would like to lease, but by the time someone might put up a porn site on say BushvsDean.com, I'd have already been served papers. I wish there was a lawyer in our group that could give us some direction on how we can protect ourselves in such cases.

Just my two cents.
