Hello my dear NF'ers..

I just read about the eNom reseller accounts and don't quite understand it all 100%. There are 6.95$ accounts and 8.95$ accounts. The 8.95$ accounts are available for free if I understand correctly, the 6.95$ ones are sold for around 100$. What are they sold for by eNom? I couldn't find a price..
There are people selling 6.95$ accounts on this forum. I heard that if I purchase such an account, I could sell reseller accounts. Could I sell 6.95$ reseller accounts?

Thanks,
dot

No, $6.95 is the price you pay for domains, any accounts you create will have a retail value of $8.95 as this is the lowest new accounts can be created for under Enoms new policy. In order to get $6.95 accounts directly from enom will cost in the region of $7000.00

OK, so all I can do once I get a 6.95$ account is sell 8.95$ reseller accounts and 6.95$ domains for myself. Correct?

With that account you can also retail (sell) domain registrations.

Well, I don't get it either.
What makes the difference for Enom if I register a name for $6.95 and push it into another account and charge $7.00 for that.

I didn't look at Enom's site, but can't follow the logic.

Dot, you don't understand. When a domain is sold through a reseller account Enom charges you a transaction fee of 95 cents (I believe) + 3% for the credit card. Total on $7 sale would be $1.16 .

If you sold for $7 then you would owe Enom about $1.10

Actually, if you use authorize .net, you can bring that charge down to about 22 cents.

Dot...you can sell domains for whatever you want? You keep the profit above $6.95 minus any transaction charges.

You can also buy domains for yourself at $6.95.

You can also set up 8.95 and up reseller accounts, you keep commissions above $6.95.
