I'm trying to retrieve a domain name for a customer. The previous host seems to have done a runner, leaving no login details for the web hosting account. I have tried e-mailing the address on the Whois look up for the domain but no reply.

I want to do be able to transfer the domain so that the customer can use it again. I thought about initiating a transfer but as there was no reply from the e-mail address listed there's not much point really as the request will no doubt keep bouncing.

How can I go about getting the domain back, short of waiting until it expires and then getting it quick.
