This will not eliminate you being VOUNERABLE

The security in the fingerprint reader is in its storage, and in "copy and pasts" the password and username in the authentification window from the website, so no keylogger risk.

The vulnerability form the online control panels will be still the same, the hacker search a backdoor till found.

I agree, I was somewhat joking before about the DNA match, and somewhat not. Especially as we develop domains into businesses, the idea that someone can steal a domain hence shutting down a business, even for a short time period is very frightening.

I would imagine quick data like a fingerprint scan could be easily encrypted and sent to your control panel quickly. I really think that is a very interesting idea, much less the same goes with a retina scan. Does anyone here know if such ideas are being planned with any registrars?

Raoul, are you saying that a hacker could hack the fingerprint reader too?

Anything can be hacked. But there are more interesting things to hack than a fingerprint reader chip, bringing more money.

In my opinion the fingerprint reader is not suitable.


The strongest solution today for securing ONLINE things, will be with certificates, public and a private key RSA 1048


I had such ideaa a few weeks ago when I was reading another tread here on DNF, I let my developer make it, and I trying to get it patented.

I thought his posts were interesting reading. I am not sure exactly what the frontyard.yahoo.com is? Is that only for yahoo employees? Is that somehow actually a backdoor to do what you will with anyones yahoo account? If so this is a huge issue I would think.

It was a fake website made by the scammers to fool Yahoo users, that's all.

I suggest admins to delete "frontyard.yahoo.com" and "backyard.yahoo.com" links because more users will loose their passes..

I don't think it was a coincidence that -master- posted in this thread. I wouldn't be surprised if he had something to do with the theft of your domain.
Nice to see you got it back. Its definitely a Merry Christmas at your house this year!!!

I honestly try to give the benefit of the doubt. I think I was understanding what he was saying about the backdoor pass through yahoo.com, but I cannot tell if what he was saying is real.

How can a subdomain on yahoo be a fake website used to mine passwords?
Am I overlooking something?
 
Hm, I was thinking Yahoo is selling sundomains... I could be wrong :)

Exactly, I would assume on the admins of Yahoo could do something like that.

But it would be nice to know for sure whether there is indeed a backdoor pass somehow to yahoo as was being described here.

Anyone here know someone that can confirm exactly what backyard.yahoo.com and frontyard.yahoo.com actually is?

None public, yahoo would immidiatly patch the leak. The guy is talking about a theory, for example: admin.backyard.yahoo.com/[email protected]?PID=confirm_change_passw =YES <<<< fantasy :)

Havloc that -master- probably worked against you.
This is the reason he talked so much about rex.com in the last 2 days.

No he never mentioned before rex is being stolen but he mentioned too many times after.
So I'm suspicious.
