What is a ringback? The tone heard by a calling party when, at the called-party's end, the telephone is ringing or the system is otherwise being alerted of the incoming call ... what it means to the mobile cellphone community, as well as possibly all telephones, is that if person A calls person B, person B will hear a pre-determined tone (like a ringtone) that A chose. In a sense it over-rules a person's ringtone IF the other party has a ringback ringtone already setup.
Any value ideas? Supposedly this 'trend' should be hitting the States within a year. People speculate that this might be a new viral marketing means (i.e. getting new music to customers, etc)
