Results 1 - 10 of about 261,000 for "road navigation".
Results 1 - 10 of about 1,830 for "road nav".

Although "road navigation" is a popular phrase, "road nav"
only gets a couple thousand results.

Compare that to "sat nav" with a couple million results

Results 1 - 10 of about 1,190,000 for "sat nav".

So, "road nav" is not a popular phrase, atleast not yet.
