Actually, I think it'll make an ideal name for a web consulting firm. Very hip and trendy. Think of the tag line:

the .net is the killer.

i wouldn't part with rocketscience.com for less than 10k. it's one of those rare, catchy, brandable names thats good for a tech. or consulting company.

i think .net would be more for a personal site of sort. so appraisal would be ~$100-$300. i know that's a big swing between the .com and .net value. but i don't see people using .net.

I find it funny that you smear the .net to praise .com. Do you own it?
