You know its a famous persons name and they can sue you for regging it. I wouldnt be promoting and displaying this in a public forum. People report these things. Definetly not a good reg due to the legal issues and ofcourse business ethics come into play a little. Did you read the article in the other forum on this site . regging peoples names can get you in big trouble.

Hi goodguyy.

Someone HAS registered my name and there is absolutely nothing i can do about it. In this world we live in, hundreds, if not thousands of people have the same name, so how can it be wrong????

Is it one rule for the rich and another for the poor?

There are millions of johnsmiths in the world. Does that mean only one john smith has the entitlement to it?

Thanks anyway for your comments.

Kind regards

Wrong GoodGuyy! You can not be sued for regging the name. NOBODY has exclusive rights to there name and it cannot be copyrighted or trademarked. The only rights you have is the accomplishments you have had with your name. He may even keep and be well in his right to keep any type in traffic revenue.

Bill Gates does not own BillGates.com and the person cannot be sued for registering it or monetizing it. If the owner of that domain name sells bill gates t-shirts with his likeness or Microsoft logos he then can be sued.

I think it's okay to reg someone else's name. If someone wants the name, let them make you a reasonable offer for it. Just holding the name without making reference towards anyone in particular is not a crime. Like above stated, their are lot's of John Smiths in the world and I am sure lot's of Rosey Perez's also.
