my first post so here goes i couldn't work out what section to post in as i didn't think appraisals would welcome me, I am new to this domain snapping but have had my eye on rumble.com for a long time now

i managed to secure it via snapnames and was comfortable bidding a grand i didn't even consider it would shoot above this (newbie here obvly)

i am prepared to bid more but need some reassurance it is actually worth money so any estimates would be great fully appreciated

Hi

As a rule, we don't give appraisals for names that you don't own.

I would offer this advice for the future.

Keep any name you are bidding on or plan to bid on...to yourself.

The more people know about it, the higher the price may go.

Perhaps find someone here you can trust to seek advice from, rather than going public with your plans.

Good Luck!

yeah i had that in mind but its in private auction so thought even if it did promote interest unless people are already in on it there wouldn't be much they could do

thanks for advice though

Well, I have been the current high offer for the last day or so, but I doubt that lasts.

Whats it up to?

Cool, cross your fingers! lol ;)

Good luck bro, I sent you a Pm too on that other thing..

UPDATE !

I called up the former owner who was on a first name basis asked wtf happened, why didnt they renew and before I could say the drop price, he said it !

Heres the short version.

Their company bought out the previous owners but admin never changed
They called Netsol, they were was less than helpful and said NO paper work for you as you are not the admin contact
They said ok we will get in touch with admin contact, but were unable to for whatever reason and Primus( who they bought out and who hired that admin was not helping either )
So they sent Netsol via their lawyer all legal doc show they bought out the former owner which clearly stated the domain rumble.com as well, explained admin was unreachable
Netsol said too bad
Their lawyer than sent a letter to netsol and Snapnames stating DO NOT SALE this name as we are still trying to sort things out.
As you all know snap and netsol ignored them and baam dropped and sold at snaps

So in the end legal action will now commence, good luck to the winner ... anyone know who it was ?

It sounds like an exceptional case. Perhaps Netsol and Snap should be flexible to allow for exceptional cases such as this one. No common sense applied imo.

That truly is sad if that's the case, very unfair and terribly frustrating imo.
Sometimes this business sucks when you see stuff like that happen and the sharks are in a frenzy bidding on it..bet the owner never thought it was worth 30k in a drop.

yep you feel bad for the owner. :undecided:
then you have companies reverse hijacking innocent domainers & wipo backing it up.
nice to know this business is as F*cked up as everything else in this world! lol
sorry, Pred's having one! ;)

It seems like company are only protecting their benfits and themselves these days and never pay any attention to their customers and services nowadays.

only just noticed you guys had replied, I did wonder why they let it drop I feel gutted for the owner.
