it was an american city, and there was also an african country that went for a high price as well.
Nevada.info is receiving quite a lot of interest at sedo
Sahara.info - the short form of saharadesert has also received a few interests as well. It is a very popular place in Africe.

appreciate the comment domainah, though i think it could be worth much more than that to the right end user.
Mainly because a lot of people around around the world go there on adventures yearly, and it holds the highest camel population on earth.

could make a good travel info site and they always do well in adsense.. so I appraise at 2 years potential earnings and give it a $1500 value.

..well..the sahara is not a country..so that makes it more difficult...the domain sahra.info would be worth maybe 2K, but I can't see a high camel population increasing the value of a domain..I think the best is probably namestrands suggestion and making an adsense site out of it and see how much revenue you actually get from it..

Every domain could be worth much more to the right end user. The question to answer is what is it worth to "most buyers". In that respect, I would place it in the low to mid $xxx.
