Sale Of Rcdrones.org At $50 Shatters The Myth

We recently saw the sale of the domain name RCDrones.org on Flippa. The domain name ended up selling for just $50.
On the other hand, we saw the sale of RCDrones.com domain name which sold for $9,000 on the same Flippa platform.
I think this sale shatters the myth that if the .com of a domain name is very valuable, its other extensions are also going to be valuable.

What is your conclusion regarding this from your previous experiences in Domaining??

Nice headline, but on what do you base the supposition that this is an actual myth?

Anyone who has ever tried to sell anydecentdotcom.org/.net/.biz/.info knows this to be the case already.

Its always been true and any experienced domainer will tell you that

.Org especially, will never sell in these tech niches.... you might occasionally see a decent sale but they are very rare

Stick to .com in tech niches
