Sales To End Users: Payment Method?

What is your preferred payment method to an end user?

Since they have no reputation, no matter the size of the payment, should a sale to an end user always be conducted with a wire transfer to prevent fraud?

Couldn't the whole escrow process be too confusing to a typical end user? A wire transfer can be done at their bank in a matter of minutes...

every end user i've had was just as cautious as i was...explain to them what escrow is and i will assure you they will comply

Escrow seems like a good option. But, if they are willing to do a wire transfer prior to your pushing the name to them, that's even better.

I have sold 100s of names to end user in price range $$$ to low $$$$

Most of the time(around 90%), I first transfer name to buyer and never been cheated

Most people don't just open a paypal account for a purchase, they already have one. Check their history on paypal, each transaction earns 1 point. Call them on the phone and make sure the paypal info matches up. If you really want to go crazy have them scan/email photo ID. That should cover you well.

The last end user I sold to actually suggested Escrow themselves. I'd go with Escrow, and include a few links about what Escrow is just in case they aren't sure
