Am looking to sell San-Jose.com, but need to get an accurate valuation on it.

San Jose is 10th largest city in US with a population of 900,000.

The only other sale I can find reported of a hyphenated city domain is New-York.info which sold for $22,000 (namebio).

I have had a few sample pages designed:
http://www.san-jose.com
http://www.san-jose.com/san-jose-nightlife.html
http://www.san-jose.com/voodoo-lounge.html

Yahoo seems to have picked up on the fact that I have developed two pages relating to nightlife as it is No.7 for San Jose Nightlife...

Any comments or valuations would be appreciated.

[stock_post]

you have Jem, don't sell it, just develop it.

[GUA]

Dont sell for less than $200k

[SEO Domainer]

If you bought it the way it is don't sell it for less than $50k. If you built it it's obvious you have the necessary skills and you should keep working on it because it has big potential. And from what I know if Yahoo gives you rankings they will last much longer than Google.

The logo goes to http://www.san-jose.com/ sanjoseindexfina.html and I don't think you want that page indexed.

No selling in appraisal forum.

Thanks,

You've got a really great website there and a fantastic domain. I wouldn't sell for anything under 150,000. If I was you, keep working on the site and hold, grow and go to the bank.

[philiporchard]

Thanks for the valuations....

I have now put the domain up for sale...

Price is just 6k at the moment... taking a while to build momentum

Domain sold
Thanks for PMs

Hi BidNo

Do you, or anyone else, have a list of some of the better city dot info domain sales? Without hyphens. I tried using your domain history sales site, but couldn't seem to get any results.

Thanks
Tim
