I work for a carpet manufacturer that uses SAP

I work mainly writing the interfaces between SAP and the Warehouse/Finance systems though so I don't know too much about it right now. but it looks like that is where my career path is going if i stay at this firm for the next few years.

but I know for certain that sap actively pursue their intellectual property so the domains are good but risky.

This is a similiar area in which i worked. logistics.

Many opportunities in this field, with plenty of job listing
for SAP/r3 experience.

heh about 20 minutes after my post we had a deparmental meeting and it was announced we would not be continuing with the sap rollout to our stores but instead pursuing another vendors product

we are still using it as our core system here at head office but it looks like I am going to be entering the wonderful world of middleware... so long powerbuilder
