no shortage of fools out there and fools are usually separated from their cash :)

You and I agree on this one especially since the spelling is wrong and its hyphenated. Maybe it was the traffic the buyer was interested in?

ive seen all manner 'sell' on ebay
i doubt it will result in sale, haven't even looked at bid thread but ebay is scammer and shill bidder territory

also if wrong spelling even more unlikely

you guys

the traffic was probably enormous on this and rev$ may have been just as nice.

again, you guys only see value for today and have no idea of future.

whether or not her and mc cain win the election, she will still be around

and imo - the misspelling is an advantage for the owner

do ya know why?

Actually looks like it is the correct spelling. OP just spelt it wrong. Domain was regged on 8-29. I tried to get a palin domain the same day but was beaten out.

That's a deal. Long term, it's a good name to own. A lot more than John-Mccain would even be since he's old. ;)

I wonder if Palin-In-Pigtails.com is still available?

How long is someone suppose to wait for people to realize a domains true value? and this domain in particular?

Oh enlighten us Biggedon.

i apologize if i came off as all knowing

but

too often quotes are passed around so much that those who read them start to believe them

the "hyphen" discussion has been debated time and time again

and the quote used most often concerning hyphens is that "the hyphen hurts" the value.

though that statement may have truth, the absolute truth is that "a hyphen does not make a domain worthless".

if you figure "sarapalin com" is worth x # $, then "sara-palin com", (where there's sufficient traffic and rev$), should have a percentage value related to the non hyphenated version.

there is no surpirise there, only logic.

imo...

:)

I definitely like celeb names with hyphens (second only to the celebname.com). Might not get as many typos, but it definitely looks legit in the search engine results, to say nothing about how well MSN/Live will usually rank it. ;)

it's an eBay sale, we'll see if it really changes hands.

The highest bid prior to the BIN was $1

So, the person buys at BIN? Hmmmm

The winning bidder has zero rep and joined eBay on 8-27-08... Another hmmmm

Looks like a fake.

A hyphenated typo gets "tons of traffic"? From where? It was registered 2 weeks ago.

Winner has zero feedback and was registered 2 days before the domain.

Probably a fake sale...

Yeap it should be a fake bid

When this deal goes through Sarah Palin might actually be a good candidate for office! (never) lol

Mmmm.... That's why I hate ebay, most sales are...well, not sales.

About Sarah Palin? That's another time wast... I mean Story...

Well, I would love to hear if this sale is real. I had one political name, but he's long gone.
