SatireSearch has been running for 6 years. It is a fully automated (vbscript, sql server, classic asp) satire news aggregator that runs on the site, but its feeds are also embedded in many other sites like about.com (the political humor and humor sections), Comedy Zone etc.
It settled on around 4,000 visitors a day a few years back, and is a top ten google result for a search of 'satire'.
I've never really sought to run ads on the site, only adding google ads this week. It has slipped down the Alexa rankings since I've left it to its own devices, but when I added a forum and worked more on encouraging sites to take the feeds, it became a top 20,000 Alexa site, so has plenty of potential to grow further.
I don't have the foggiest idea what kind of realistic price the site could sell for, so would appreciate your informed appraisals.
