Enom Club Drop is now on NameJet.com

It's way more than just that. It combines enom and network solutions.
I think this could mean the end of SnapNames.

Snapnames still has register.com and other priority partners, also has some real drop-catchings and also private protfolio sales. So they will sure feel it but is far from an "end".

Agreed, but the big loss of revenue to Snapnames is heartwarming.
Because of their awful treatment of smallfry 'Swapnames' .
Another area where domainers are voting with their feet.

$70? i guess the rest will follow now

and they raised the minimum bid to $70.00 up from $60.00.
Minus $7 (soon to be $7.50) for reg. fee so the only different is $2.50

but the $60 included the reg fee

Check some of your clubdrop emails (if any) you will see something like
Type Qty ExtAmt Description / Status
===============================================================================
Registration 1 $6.95 domain.com / Successful
ClubDrop Bid 1 $60.00 domain.com / Successful

TOTAL BILLED: $66.95 USD to your reseller account

Are the netsol drops already with NameJet?

If so, they are not making many names available to the public....

I think he meant snapnames/NSI, then price was $60
Well what I wrote was reaction to Biggedon's "Enom Club Drop is now on NameJet.com and they raised the minimum bid to $70.00"

And lately Netsol drops on Snap was $99 min. bid...

Now is actually quite obvious how Netsol and Enom fcuked with Snapnames even more: Enom let some names auction at Snapnames (to get access to data), later Netsol change min. bid to $99 (to get people used to higher price also later bidders will be happy price is cheaper - "only" $70)

Not yet till Oct 8th is still on Snap. Auctions on namejet are jsut from Enom (which would be on Clubdrop otherwise)

Thanks for the info Denny.

I think it's going to be wierd for about a week or two. Not knowing where the domains will be dropping, snap, namejet etc.

Im sure there is a date that All the NetSol, eNom, bulkregister names will be at NameJet. There are some of each there now, but not all.

This is a HUGE blow to snap, as we all know NetSol domains are the best, eNom has some good ones, then probally Register who is still with snap but for how long?

I personally will not and would not list any personal names anymore at snap due to the large drop in use by the customers that used it solely. Snap has one thing going for them, they are a good drop catcher, but if you look really at the True Drops, I do not see a huge market with JUST those names.

NameJet.com should have built a site like SnapNames.com... NameJet.com site looks like it was built when a lot of NS domains were originally reg'd... in the 90's.

well, it's now official ... got an email from netsol earlier this morn ...

Network Solutions(R) is excited to introduce our new expired domain name auction partner, NameJet(TM). At this time, you can continue to get available, expired domain name(s) through the enhanced backorder service from NameJet.

Any backorder requests for domains that expired on or after September 21, 2007 and are scheduled to go to auction October 27, 2007 or later will be handled by NameJet, our new auction provider. If you have already placed a backorder request with our previous auction provider, SnapNames(R) for domains coming up for auction after October 27, 2007, you must place a new request with NameJet in order to participate in the auction.

Backorder requests expiring prior to October 27, 2007 will still be handled by SnapNames. If you have a SnapNames account, it will remain active, however SnapNames will no longer carry Network Solutions expired domain name inventory. All backorder requests for Network Solutions inventory will need to go through NameJet.

If you have an existing ClubDrop account, you can use your existing ClubDrop log-in information with our new provider, NameJet. ClubDrop has been re-launched with many new features and enhancements under the brand name NameJet.

For more information on our enhanced Backorder Service from NameJet, please visit http://www.namejetinfo.com.

You can easily set up a new account and place your requests with NameJet, by visiting http://www.namejetsignup.com.
