For Sale Scammers and Thieves

I've received about 4 domain transfer requests for some of
my less popular domains from 4 different registrars (and they
are registered with 4 different registrars as well) within the
last two weeks.

Seems like there is a serious thief on the loose and he’s going
after whatever he/she can get their hands on.

Just letting you guys know so that you can protect yourself. Make
sure your whois e-mail address is valid and that you have placed
locks on all your domains (disable transfer requests). Check your
e-mail often and don’t download attachments.

I have a hunch as to who this might be, but until I have some
solid proof I won’t name anyone.

If there is one thing I can’t stand it’s thieves. When I have some
solid evidence supporting my theory as to who this is, let me assure
you that I WILL drag your name through the mud and I WILL take all
necessary legal measures to make sure you get the punishment you
deserve.

Me too, received a transfer request for a name I had listed in the auction a couple of weeks ago.
Be sure to check all transfer requests, its easy to "assume" when making sales in the auction etc.

Thanks! Glad you like it. Sean found a small bug that causes
a lag when you try to use the menu while the Ultra scan is
in progress. This bug has been fixed and an update will be
issued very shortly.

It is very possible that a name or two could be transferred and I would not realize it til later.

I better check to make sure all the locks are on. And, also do a check in each acct. about transfer.

This was happening to me a year ago. I kept getting a transfer request from an opensrs account for a domain name I had. It was always for the same name. Then it just stopped.

I have had transfer requests and attempts to retrieve passwords from my register in my email the last couple months. I don't think these are isolated incedents and I'm sure many others have been targeted.

I got several requests to transfer some of my domanis out during the last week. I also had several requests to reset my email account's password. Once they get in control of your email box, to steal all your domains will not be a problem.

Whoever these guys are, they will be f**cked up hard sooner then later.
