I was going to possibly make an offer but you saying that turned me off so did not proceed. Other sellers also sometimes say that too. Why throw such a big negative connotation in the post?

Why? Your idea of a good name and what constitutes a lowball offer is highly arbitrary in many cases and your lowball may be someone else's reasonable offer and quite diverse vs what a buyer would consider a lowball offer.
