I have owned this domain that I captured in a Snapnames drop for several years. I had it appraised by Afternic which gave it a PMV of $25,200 with: "An estimated 269,100 searches each month."

The search term Scarsdale Diet gets 434,000 results in Google and has an Overture rating of 3692 w/o ext.
I should mention that although this is literally one of the most famous diets of all time, the domain comes with absolutely no trademark issues as the trademark on the name expired many, many years ago and has never been renewed so it is highly brandable and one could easily sell other diet ads like Atkins which is very similar in it's plan on a developed site.
Also I should add that even though one may be tempted to think that this diet is "old news" - the truth is that the murder of the books' author was recently made the subject of an Original HBO Film which just came out a few months ago starring Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley and
Oscar nominee Annette Benning (Warren Beatty's wife)

Moreover the book according to Wikipedia is still in print and still not only sells on Amazon but gets regular customer reviews and the diet itself (also according to Wikipedia) is very similar in nature and was actually formulated AFTER "The Atkins Diet" came out and one only need stroll along a grocery store aisle to see atkins products everywhere so while an old formulation, the truth is the diet still does remain popular to this day.
