Hi all- I have owned this domain that I captured in a Snapnames drop several years ago before they went to an auction based system so I was trying to get an accurate appraisal of it. I had it appraised by Afternic when I first got it and they gave a top price of $100,000
The search term Scarsdale Diet gets 434,000 results in Google and has an Overture rating of 3692 w/o ext.
The domain last month got 400 unique views and earned $7 but I have had months when it was hosted with Afternic where I earned $200-$300 a month from sales commissions. (I guess I should move it back there now that I think of it but only recently switched to Sedo to try them out a month or two ago.)
I should mention that although this is literally one of the most famous diets of all time, the domain comes with absolutely no trademark issues as the trademark on the name expired many, many years ago and has never been renewed so it is highly brandable and one could easily sell other diet ads like Atkins which is very similar in it's plan on a developed site.
I realize that Afternic tends to inflate thier appraisals so I was wondering what people here thought about it but since I have obtained the domain several years ago I get almost monthly inquiries wanting to buy it in the mid to high $x,xxx range so that seems like a baseline minimum at the very least just due to the routine offers I recieve on it.
Maybe if you could give a range from undeveloped to developed that would give me the best idea as to whether to part with it for the immediate cash or spend some time developing it.
Thanks for your opinions, I am interested to hear what everyone thinks.

Also wanted to add that even though one may be tempted to think that this diet is "old news" - the truth is that the murder of the books author was recently made the subject of an Original HBO Film which just came out a few months ago starring Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley and
Oscar nominee Annette Benning (Warren Beatty's wife)

Moreover the book according to Wikipedia is still in print and still not only sells on Amazon but gets regular customer reviews, the most recent from October 3rd, 2006 (two days ago) and the diet itself (also according to Wikipedia) is very similar in nature and was actually formulated AFTER "The Atkins Diet" came out and one only need stroll along a grocery store aisle to see atkins products everywhere so while an old formulation, the truth is the diet still does remain popular to this day.

OK guys, seems like I got my wires crossed.
I recieved a private message from Amber of Afternic who is a member here and she corrected me as to the amount of the appraisal so in the interest of fair disclosure I feel the need to correct the record.
However as I said initially and as you will see by the appraisal link this appraisal was done over two years ago and about 300 domains have come and gone out of my possesion since then so my memory is not as good as I thought it was I guess.
I should also mention that I initially got an appraisal from another company (who exactly escapes me but I guess that does not say much for thier credibility LOL) who DID appraise this domain for $100,000 so I simply got which company appraised for what mixed up although 100K seemed high even for me which is why I put 3 ??? question marks in the title since 100K seemed unrealistic, even to me.
In any event, I wanted to clear things up and actually am glad to recover with Ambers help the appraisal since I was going to have to re-order one anyway if I decided to sell.
I should also add that the username that I had the appraisal done with afternic for was a couple usernames ago so I had no way to access the thread they host them on but Amber was good enough to look it up for me at my request.
So without further adieu: The official appraisal from Afternic is a low of $7,400 and a high of $25,200 with: "An estimated 269,100 searches each month."
