I was checking the whois on "searchdomain.com" at snapnames.com, and once the whois data loaded, a bunch of popup windows came up. I then went over to netsol.com and checked the whois there, and nothing happened, but you can see coding in his whois. Im kinda suprised they get away with that.

I wonder if its possible to put in a counter so you can see how many people are looking at your whois.

I recall one crafty domain holder even had Flash loading in his WHOIS. Can't recall the domain name, but most WHOIS software is now filtering the WHOIS output so that HTML embedded in it won't display.

It is possible. All you need to do is run a script that launches a pop up and place the counter in the popup. You could actually build a script to do it for you.:D
