yeah but you would have to parse zf and have relating whois information big job for most

I put the domain name in as the registrant to avoid possible transfer fees. you wouldn't gain anything by doing a registrant search in this case.

No!

If you know how the zone files work along with the WHOIS info, you know that this is impossible without a HUGE HUGE HUGE amount of time and effort as well as a mega-database.

This has been discussed quite a few times in the recent past. If you search the forums, you will be able to find the threads.

Used to be at NetSol/NetworkSolutions.. if you knew the NIC handle, you could do a 'nic search' and it would pull up all names registered by that nic handle/owner. Just key in a domain in Netsol.. it'll show the nic handle of that owner of that name.. then try to do a nic search.. I believe in the past, this info was accessible over there.
