secretvictorias.com is for sale.

I am accepting offers as of 5-23-06

There are currently 689926 searches on overture for this phrase reversed as victoriassecret.com(R)

The search is "secret victorias" without the .com, .net extension.

This websites intention was that of a city in the Philippines or it could be used as a Canadian website. I was going to list all of the getaways in the Philippines and then thought about Canadas small resorts that aren't well known, and may still do so if the domain doesn't retrieve an acceptable offer.

I know some people from the Philippines and they were always discussing places in their country such as Victorias City which is a 5th class city in the province of the Occidental's in the Philippines.

Hence SecretVictorias.

By a fluke I learned how to check Overture and was amazed at the amount of searches for this phrase.

It most likely would be a conflict of interest if it were used as a lingerie site as I have been advised.

Thanks!

the searches were actually for "victorias secret" , overture puts the words in alphabetical order , so there were probably zero searches for the reverse as you have.

Hello,

If you have ever used Yahoo Search Submit Express and read the tutorials you will find that the particular order of the words in a phrase may be forward or backward. Yahoo! is Overture. When you use the Search Submit Express they use key-words or key-phrases from the raw name of the domain.

A good example is "www.contractors-general.com"

When you type in the keyword/phrase "general contractors" you will find "contractors-general" sets quite nicely at the 8th position on a search in Yahoo!'s directory.

This is so for secretvictorias as well with a MASSIVE six hundred thousand results per month. I shudder at the revenue from one of dnforums ppc templates using this domain and may take this domain down and do just that.

I have experimented and found that most results on yahoo are top level .com .net where the .info scores a little less for some reason.

www.secretvictorias.com has serious income potential in light of the ranking system used by Overture.

Thank you for your post.

If you want to make revenue via search engines then you need to develop the name into an active website. Unforunately no one will type the domain into a browser and search engines wont index it unless there is a developed website on the domain.

Hello,

I agree developing w/content and marketing is key.

The beauty of the domain is when it is developed or even used in a ppc template the domain will show up most likely on the first page of the search results when someone types in either "secret victorias" (which I doubt will happen unless dyslexia is present) OR "victorias secret" which by fluke is returned as many times as Overture states per month.

This is what makes this domain a winner.

Enjoy:yo:

P.S. There is a little trick I found with the Overture keyword tool. It returns most results in singular form without the "s". Another is if you type in "selling house no realtor" you will also find that that result shows up if you simply analyse the keywords and include only what is missing. For instance, let's take "selling house no realtor" for example. If you type in what was left out, you will get the same results like this: EXAMPLE : type in the keywords "your with no" and you will see that "selling house no realtor" comes up in the results. Overture keyword suggestion tool has dropped the stop words "your with" and "no". Include those in the domain name when you register and you have ALL of the words. By chance I happen to own "www.sellingyourhousewithnorealtor.com" as well.

This works with ANY long phrase typed in.

Presto, Overture keyword suggestion tool 101.
