LONDON, June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Since the inception, .ME domain names became favourite brand pickings of online start-ups as well as the top Internet companies. Facebook and Wordpress are using fb.me and wp.me to shorten their URLs. Services like About.Me, Join.Me, and Links2.Me are market leaders whenever it comes to virtual business cards, team collaboration or link bundling. Brands-and-Jingles already deploys more than a hundred proprietary .ME web-portals via its Name.ly and Name.ly/PRO platforms.

Running in partnership with the Sedo, the agency is releasing 190 premium .ME names practically at the level of the nominal prices ranging between $149 and $999. Most of the names were secured during the land rush and were already prolonged up to six years upfront leaving the new buyers with extra two bonus years of renewals.

Half of the listed names consist of the most desirable verb+me combinations and the other half comprises of catchy slogans, all ready to become top online brands.

This event is a rare opportunity to grab web jingles like:

""" Absolute.Me, Captcha.Me, Chic.Me, Combat.Me, Compact.Me, Decent.Me, Decrease.Me, Dislike.Me, Donate2.Me, Fitting.Me, Follows.Me, Healthcover.Me, Implement.Me, Interesting.Me, Keyboard.Me, Knows.Me, Listed.Me, N-Y.Me, Recall.Me, RiskFree.Me, Scary.Me, Shared.Me, Splendid.Me, Substitute.Me, Tagged.Me, Tested.Me, Upload2.Me, Usual.Me, Vocal.Me, Weapon.Me, ... """

Compared to the sales of similar domain name classes, the names are priced hundred and even thousand times lower than the top industry sales, like that of meet.me, which was sold last year for $450,000.00.

The auction begins on 5th of July2012 and runs until 12th of July2012.

The complete list of the domain names is available via sedo.com/me or via this post: http://links2.me/~y722$cq

Wow! I'm first hearing about this and auction will start soon.
I own Powder.me for 4 years.
Can someone get me on the list or am I too late?.

I have a hard time believing that the sale occurred at that
level, but I do wish you well with your auction!

Interest.me was sold by Sedo for $80,000 this year.

Now, this auction has a better version: interesting.me - and the reserve prices is hundred times less!

Mark, interest.me is much better than interesting.me, and there are
a variety of high potential uses for it. Interesting.me, in contrast, is
quite restrictive and it's only obvious use is as some social networking
site for folks who want to claim they are "interesting"...

Good luck with the sale 'though!

:)

Is this really news or just an advert?

Maybe it's both. But it is somewhat newsworthy, so why take the risk
of de-railing the guy's thread just so that you can show a cynical
attitude?...

OK I'll be blunt.

It should be in the external auctions sales section. Most members would have had it moved or deleted.

Good luck to the OP for getting away with it.

I'm not sure he will feel the warmth of your sentiment,
particularly as it appears to be more than a little conflicted
by your original comment...
