No. Once an auction is started it must run for 7 days regardless of its current bid. The only way Sedo will stop or cancel a running auction is if there are issues regarding ownership etc.

Stian is right.
If a buyer make you an offer you can accept or decline the offer but you can't close an auction when it starts...Sedo can close the auction only for security/fraud reasons.

Thanks just saw the answer.

The problem that occured was , i had agrre on a price with a seller and he accidentally sent the domain to auction..Now both of will have to unnecessarily wait for 7+ days despite having decided the price :( beforehand.

anybody have a skype no/toll free.. or anything of a sedo rep.. ? already pm'd them here, but they haven't logged in for 3 days.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, Sedo wont allow sellers to stop auctions when they are in progress. During the auction period, if someone makes a higher bid than yours, then you will be in trouble.

Thanks, yes that's why i needed to contact them. What will happen if I & the seller transact outside of Sedo.. ? any liabilities besides the 10% fee ?

Just tried calling them on tel +49 221.34030.230 but it's a automated sys.. informing that sedo is open Mon-Fri . and there's no reply at 49 221.34030.180 .any other no.s ?

The name is on auction. According to Sedo's policies, the seller has to honor the highest bid. If not, chances are that, his account will get closed by Sedo, and the highest bidder may pursue legal action against him.

Try to contact Colin Finnan and inform the facts. He is a Transfer Consultant/Key Accounts Manager at Sedo.
