Recently I discovered the "deleted domains" list at sedo.
I quick scan showed 7-8 domains that were deleted last year.
These domains were deleted without reason and without any notice.
Just these domains account for more than 700 Euro in the past year.
Even in the past month a domain has been deleted twice!!!
I suggest you all run a check.

Sedo claims that I deleted some of the domains when in fact I didn't.
For the domain that was deleted twice in the past month, they told me that it was deleted by accident!!! Well, that is what they told me the first time. Today I discovered it was deleted again. I wonder what excuse they will have tomorrow.

All these domains were utilized by sedo and/or by sedo's clients.
I have already talked to a german lawyer about this.

dvdrip, have Sedo offered you any compensation for loss of earnings or for the time you have spent resubmitting the domains, telephone costs, time emailing them, etc.?

I think I know the answer, but supposing is not knowing.

They have only offered compensation for the last domain but I have yet to see a €.
Now the domain was deleted again.

The other 7-8 were bigger earners and were deleted for many months. They say I deleted the domains. That is just crazy.

SmokedCheese.com? I doubt it.

Perhaps someone else was adding them to there account.. I know whois checks are supposed to be done, but sometimes users sign up with your details.. its a well known issue.

Today I have noticed that some of my names had disappeared from my Sedo account too. Database restore maybe ?

No. Simple fraud.

where or how do you find this : "deleted domains" list ?

Go to Domain Management.
Then at the top left:
Please choose: Deleted domains (from the drop down menu)

thank you - just found it - looking through it now....

found two that i don't know why they where deleted...

Wow, that is an option I never clicked on. Thanks for the link.
After that, sort by deletion date to view the most recent actions. This way you can tell what has happened. In my case, I don't see any deleted names that I didn't remove myself.

Same here.. Now this is interesting..

Hi guys,

If you notice any domains which have been deleted from your account and shouldn't have been, please PM me.

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Tom,

Simple question, will Sedo compensate the owners with money for the domains that Sedo have deleted that they should not have deleted?

Look Tom, I don't have to check every day if one of my domain gets deleted from my account because some of your colleagues don't even know how to use whois.
So save these "if you notice" and "please PM me".
You make absolutely sure that no domains can be deleted without any reason at all and let us all know. Until then...

this is rubbish - i pmed you several hours about 2 domains and i also tried adding them to my account again - and after many hours both are still not added - still under review.

what kind of game is sedo playing here - i had both of these domains for years - there not NO tm issues - one is xxxxx the other is xxxxx - SO TELL ME WHY THEY WHERE REMOVED ??

WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS ??

HOW MANY OTHER DOMAINERS HAVE YOU DELETED DOMAINS FROM WHITHOUT NOTIFYING THEM ??

is this HOW SEDO DOES BUSINESS ??

As the domains would still be pointing towards Sedo who has been awarded the revenue from these domain names that Sedo has deleated without authority?
